  Just ordered the moto g 2nd generation and hope to get a pay monthly sim from three for it. I just wondered what sim it uses as I can't find it on the specifications. All I know is that it is duel sim. Thanks for any help.

For now I think your device is going to came out with the KitKat but in the upcoming time its going to get the update Android L. So keep you fingers crossed.

  They used the same size non removable internal battery which points to one of two things.
  Either the screen will be duller or else battery life will take a hit, which is a shame as it is top end for that.
  However, if the new camera is much improved, then it negates that only thought of this not competing as 'top end'.

  The camera is improved, but still quite noisy even in good lighting. Photos that looked great on the phone display can look a bit washed out on a big screen.
  And the answer about the battery is that when you have the larger, potentially much brighter, display the battery does take a hit.
  GSam Battery Monitor shows that I'm averaging about 24 hours, which is way down on my original 3G-only Moto G.
  Now that's not terrible, but it's now more in line with any other smartphone.

  One thing to note about the SD card slot.... The phone ships with Kitkat 4.4.3, this does not support the newer card types!
  I purchased a 32 GB Type-10 Micro-SD card and it simply wouldn't recognise it, although I checked with a couple of other phones to confirm the card was OK.
  Looking online it seemed this was a known issue, I spoke to Motorola who confirmed it was a known problem with newer cards, I had an old 4GB Type-4 card that worked fine, and Motorola confirmed it would be resolved with the next release, 4.4.4.
  I can confirm that is the case. So assuming they are still being shipped with 4.4.3 the update to 4.4.4 needs to be performed to use any of the current generation of micro-DS cards.
  As for battery life, I don't use mine for playing games but I do use it for listening to music and I get @ 48 hours between charges.
  Overall, for the price it is a cracking phone.

  Well, that looks like you are pretty much happy with...... anyway I do seem to thinking the same way like you have at thing price point its a cracking device. I am seeing the popularity of motorola device have started taking hype

  As soon as I switched my new MotoG 4G on for the first time on Wednesday it upgraded to 4.4.4 via my Wifi.
